Your Job:
- Manage all hotel purchasing and procurement activities.
- Source, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain competitive quotes and negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms.
- Purchase food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, maintenance materials, office supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with department heads.
- Ensure purchases meet quality standards and budget requirements.
- Track and control purchasing costs to maximize savings.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Coordinate with Finance to reconcile invoices and process payments.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Evaluate supplier performance and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Work closely with Executive Chef, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Operations teams.
- Manage stock control and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to avoid operational disruptions.
- Support sustainability initiatives by sourcing environmentally responsible products where possible.
What You’ll Need:
- Previous experience as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager, or Buyer, ideally within hospitality.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procurement processes.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Excellent analytical and budgeting skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing/ERP software.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of food safety and supplier compliance standards is an advantage
