Full job description

At Nature’s Best Ltd, we are Ireland’s leading producer of fresh salads and chilled convenience foods.

We are currently seeking an IT Administrator to join our team in Drogheda, Co. Louth. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our IT systems to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Administer servers, including DELL EMC systems, virtualisation (VMWare ESX), and storage solutions (Synology NAS).
Provide support for Microsoft operating systems and services, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, and Azure.
Oversee disaster recovery and backup systems to ensure data integrity and security.
Administer IT equipment such as printers, PCs, laptops, and tablets.
Document systems and processes while adhering to best practices.
Collaborate with a team to ensure seamless IT operations across the organisation.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Strong understanding of network management, including Wi-Fi and VoIP systems.
Proficiency in server management, hardware installation, and virtualization technologies.
Experience with Microsoft cloud services (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and hybrid setups.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery systems such as VEEAM.
Ability to troubleshoot and manage IT infrastructure and office equipment effectively.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable Skills (Optional):

Familiarity with ERP systems such as Aptean or accounting software like SAGE.
Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., SQL, Visual Basic, Python, Java).
Experience with security systems (ACT, Hikvision) and home automation technologies.
