Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Ability to work with and understand the protocols of installing electro polished tube and fittings, setting up purging of systems using inert gases.
Must be able to operate and understand Arc machines and Orbitalum welding equipment.
Ensure all welding operations meet quality standards and specifications.

Essential

Four years’ experience in in orbital welding.
Two years’ experience in in orbital welding on Pharmaceutical Projects.
Ability of reading and understanding isometric drawings.
Adherence to QA/QC requirements and documentation.
Must have experience in welding 2” and above.
Documented trade experience is a requirement and hold a welding ASME 9 IX, AMI or Orbitalum certification of competence.
Safe Pass.
Manual Handling.

Desirable

Have clean room fab shop experience in the fabrication of piping spools and dimensional checking of high purity pipe work in clean room conditions for orbital welding.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
