AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our expanding Infrastructure Project Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on major programmes across sectors including energy, aviation, transportation, water, and utilities, while contributing to projects that shape communities and drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead project schedules and oversee the delivery of work across multidisciplinary, high-performing teams.

Coordinate cross-functional inputs to ensure accurate reporting and timely project delivery.

Champion best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement across project teams.

Support the development of high-performance behaviours, effective collaboration, and strong team processes.

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders through proactive engagement and clear communication.

Manage complex technical and commercial issues, providing leadership and guidance where required.

Act as an escalation point for project challenges, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Support the successful delivery of business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and client service.
About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the Infrastructure Project Management team, collaborating across disciplines to deliver complex projects and programmes. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes, while helping to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the business.

Here’s what we’re looking for:
As the successful candidate you will have experience working within our primary infrastructure markets along with having the following qualfications and experience.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar project delivery role within a regulated environment

Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables across cross-functional teams, driving complex solutions to successful outcomes

Strong leadership, influencing and collaboration skills

Solid understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of the power industry and connection processes
-
Ability to motivate teams and drive high performance in a dynamic environment

Excellent analytical, judgement and problem-solving skills

Strong decision-making capability

Enthusiastic, driven and committed to delivering strategic objectives
