Pre-Qualification Agent – Make Construction Better!

At Hilti Ireland, we’re growing fast—and we’re proud of it! From celebrating internal promotions to launching cutting-edge innovations, we’re looking for a Pre-Qualification Agent to join our Inside Sales Team, based in our offices in Finglas Dublin 11.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing team where your ideas and contributions truly matter.
As a Pre-Qualification Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact to new and potential customers — to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions using Hilti’s innovative tools, software (like ON!Track, Fieldwire, VanGateway), and services.
You'll be managing a working pipeline of leads to qualify, customers and opportunities, proactively engaging with them to understand their projects, challenges and potential requirements.
Using consultative conversations, you’ll identify and qualify opportunities across Hilti’s range of innovative tools, software solutions and wider services. Once an opportunity has been qualified, you’ll work closely with the relevant Account Manager and wider sales team, ensuring a strong handover and continuing to support the opportunity where needed to help get the deal over the line.
This role is about much more than making calls, you’ll be building relationships, developing customer contacts, asking the right questions and identifying where Hilti can help customers improve productivity, safety and efficiency.
We don’t expect you to be a construction expert. For us, it’s about the right person; the right person is passionate, curious, dedicated and collaborative – our training will cover the rest!

What You'll do

As a Pre-Qualification Agent you will be pivotal in qualifying leads, building trust and ensure customer satisfaction across the construction industry — engaging with customers to understand project requirements and identify opportunities for Hilti products and services.

Hilti thrives on a direct B2B sales model, meaning your impact is immediate and meaningful. You’ll be championing real change in productivity, safety, and sustainability, by showing up and being present.
Main Duties will include:

Own and manage a working file of leads and customers.
Qualify inbound, outbound, marketing and digital sales opportunities.
Understand customer needs, projects and potential requirements.
Build relationships with new and existing customers.
Identify opportunities across Hilti products, software and services.
Develop key contacts within customer businesses.
Work closely with Account Managers to hand over qualified opportunities.
Support the wider sales team in progressing opportunities and getting deals over the line.
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information.

Sales, Sales Development or Customer Service experience (any industry)
