Full job description

KCC Group are a market leader in the provision of supply, installation, and service of the following products: Timber Doors, Steel Security Doors, Door Hardware, Automatic Doors, Movable Walls, Fire Door Inspections, Access Control, Glazing and more.

As part of our continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Truck driver.

Key Responsibilities

Driving in the general Leinster Area, with the occasional country trip
Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with regulations
Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules#
Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
Reporting defects, accidents and violations#
Loading and unloading box trucks with forklifts
Interacting with customers in a professional manner#
Recording cargo deliveries – signed documents returned#
Verifying loads for accuracy- signed documents returned#
General light duties in our fabrication shop if/when required

Experience/ Skills Requirement

Full and clean driving license essential
C1 Category Truck License/ CPC card required. Annual modules can be completed while working with KCC
Previous experience required
Good communication and organization skills
