As part of our continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Truck driver.
- Driving in the general Leinster Area, with the occasional country trip
- Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
- Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with regulations
- Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules#
- Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
- Reporting defects, accidents and violations#
- Loading and unloading box trucks with forklifts
- Interacting with customers in a professional manner#
- Recording cargo deliveries – signed documents returned#
- Verifying loads for accuracy- signed documents returned#
- General light duties in our fabrication shop if/when required
- Full and clean driving license essential
- C1 Category Truck License/ CPC card required. Annual modules can be completed while working with KCC
- Previous experience required
- Good communication and organization skills
