What you'll do

As an SMB Sales Manager you will identify new customers, creative ways to drive more businesses to purchase and utilize Docusign's diverse solution suite. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Area Vice President, Commercial Sales.

Responsibility

Manage and lead a French Account Executive (AE) SMB sales team
Develop and execute upgrade/renewal process and strategies and ensure compliance to internal data management and reporting including use of Salesforce.com
Assess sales activities and forecasts to determine sales progress and required improvements
Recommend and implement improvements to reach sales goals
Coach salespeople to develop their sales skills including vertical market management, forecasting, prospecting within account base, negotiations, and other necessary skills; while maintaining individual accountability to goals
Maintain/protect Docusign by hiring culturally aligned team members and leading by example
Contribute in complex negotiations and the closing of the new business, including appropriate use of Senior Sales and Commercial Executives to maximize results
Work with each AE to develop and implement vertical-wide business and sales plans to achieve sales quota
Ensure the team effectively leverages sales tools and systems consistently and alignment with Rules of Engagement
Communicate and prioritize product and business needs from the field to appropriate corporate departments
Identify and support opportunities for the training and professional development of your team
Operate well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without requiring significant supervision

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring

Basic

5+ years of related experience
BA/BS degree in a business or a technical related field of study
Experience with software sales in both an individual contributor and management role
Experience managing high performing software sales teams
Fluent in French and English

Preferred

Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
Attracting, retaining, and developing high performing, high potential talent through assessing, selecting, onboarding, coaching, and developing
Experience managing multi-tiered customer relationships
Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor
Ability to collaborate with business partners across Solutions Consulting, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Business Development and Channels to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategy
SaaS based document workflow application experience
Strong forecasting and reporting capabilities
Relentless focus on customer success
Competitive, optimistic, strong work ethic, humility, and excellent communication skills
