Afterschool Educator

Lullabys is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and reliable Afterschool Educator to join our friendly team in Scoil Áine, Raheny in September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fun, child-centred environment where children can relax, play and enjoy their time after school in a safe and nurturing setting.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Support children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class in a caring and engaging environment.
Plan and participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, games, baking, STEM and homework support where appropriate.
Promote children's wellbeing, independence and positive relationships.
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team.
Ensure children's safety and wellbeing at all times.

Essential Requirements

A genuine passion for working with children.
A friendly, positive and proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain).
Relevant childcare qualification desirable but not essential for the right candidate with suitable experience.

Please Note

This is a permanent position. We are looking for someone who is interested in becoming a valued member of our team on a long-term basis, providing continuity and consistency for the children in our care. This role is not intended as a short-term position for one academic year.
