Afterschool Educator
Lullabys is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and reliable Afterschool Educator to join our friendly team in Scoil Áine, Raheny in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fun, child-centred environment where children can relax, play and enjoy their time after school in a safe and nurturing setting.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
- Support children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class in a caring and engaging environment.
- Plan and participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, games, baking, STEM and homework support where appropriate.
- Promote children's wellbeing, independence and positive relationships.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team.
- Ensure children's safety and wellbeing at all times.
Essential Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children.
- A friendly, positive and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain).
- Relevant childcare qualification desirable but not essential for the right candidate with suitable experience.

This is a permanent position. We are looking for someone who is interested in becoming a valued member of our team on a long-term basis, providing continuity and consistency for the children in our care. This role is not intended as a short-term position for one academic year.
