Full job description

Due to continued expansion, we are currently recruiting an Accounts / Finance Administrator who will work alongside our internal finance team.

PKF Brenson Lawlor is one of the fastest growing top 15 recognised training firms in Ireland. We are ambitious and dynamic and currently employ over 100 staff. We specialise in the provision of accounting, auditing, taxation, outsourcing and business advisory services to medium and large clients from a wide variety of business sectors in Ireland and internationally.

We are proudly part of the PKF Global network which represents 214 firms across 150 countries worldwide.

Role & Responsibilities:

This is a varied and interesting role, working across different people and different departments within the firm.

Assist the Finance team in managing the firms finance functions on a day-to-day basis.
Completion of month end management accounts working with the Finance Manager
Managing expenses & payments
Raising & paying invoices
Credit Control
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Profitability analysis, performance and KPI reporting
Assist with cash flow reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Work closely with the Practice Management system, generating reports and working with Finance Manager and Partner Group in connection with same
Assistance with day-to-day IT issues and liaising with our outsourced service support provider
Other ad-hoc duties as deemed appropriate

Candidate Profile:

Prior experience working in a similar position is desirable.
A progressive individual who likes variety in a role and enjoys working across a range of personnel.
IT literate with competence and capability of working with systems and reports.
Hard-working with great attention to detail.
Exceptional communication skills and comfortable working across the Partner Group.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a 2:1 in a related 3rd level degree such as Business, Finance, Accountancy etc
IATI would be desirable but not essential
