Located in the heart of Rathfarnham, The Old Orchard Inn is one of Dublin’s most well-loved local pubs and restaurants. Known for its cosy traditional charm, friendly service, and expansive beer garden, we’re a popular spot for both locals and visitors. Whether it's a quiet pint, a family meal, or a summer afternoon in the garden, we pride ourselves on offering a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at The Old Orchard Inn. This part-time role requires someone with a strong work ethic and high standards, who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The role involves 16–20 hours per week, with early morning shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out thorough cleaning of the bar, restaurant, toilets, and communal areas before opening.
Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules set by the management team.
Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard, including floors, surfaces, glassware, and bathrooms.
Replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
Dispose of waste properly and ensure bins are emptied and cleaned.
Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Ability to follow instructions and work to a set schedule.
Flexibility for early morning shifts, including weekends.
Must have previous experience working in Ireland.
Fluent English.
References essential.
