Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at The Old Orchard Inn. This part-time role requires someone with a strong work ethic and high standards, who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The role involves 16–20 hours per week, with early morning shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out thorough cleaning of the bar, restaurant, toilets, and communal areas before opening.
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules set by the management team.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard, including floors, surfaces, glassware, and bathrooms.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure bins are emptied and cleaned.
- Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to a set schedule.
- Flexibility for early morning shifts, including weekends.
- Must have previous experience working in Ireland.
- Fluent English.
- References essential.
