Full job description

Quinn Downes Service & Maintenance (QDSM), part of the Quinn Downes Group, is one of Ireland's leading providers of Hard Services Maintenance & Facility Support. As we continue to expand, we are recruiting for a Key Account Manager (Electrical qualified) to join our dynamic team.

The purpose of the role is to have one point of contact for a select amount of customers while also being responsible for the planning, management and control of all site activities including sub-contractors and small project work related to that customer. The Key Account Manager is responsible for all M&E technical/operational elements associated to your customer sites.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Communicating directly with the service desk and customer whenever any work is being performed in their building. This includes all reactive and planned work.
Daily check on subcontractors that are performing work in their buildings. If it is a project of more than 5 days, then regular site visits must also take place.
Reviewing maintenance visits for your buildings with the help of the service desk.
Managing all required subcontractors with the service desk.
Ensuring all RAMS are drafted and issued correctly to the client in a timely fashion prior to any works commencing.
Reviewing and compiling QDSM reports, quotes & subcontractors reports.
Reviewing and approving all quotes and recommendations following PPM, Callouts and Site Surveys.
Attending regular internal meetings such as customer review meetings, customer account/operations meetings and a key accounts monthly meeting.
Work closely with the service desk for assigning the most suitable engineer/sub-contractor to problematic events and following up with them until the job is completed.
Investigate and make site visits to any repetitive/problematic callouts with the responsible engineers/sub-contractors to try and close out as efficiently as possible.
Weekly review of all open jobs on your customers' sites and following up on all uncompleted jobs with the relevant engineer/sub-contractor.
Highlight any H&S issues on site and be proactive in coming up with solutions.
Be responsible for the delivery of service according to the service contract requirements, time limits and ensure that all visits are completed as agreed with the schedule.
Make sure that all service reports are issued and all service items closed out within the agreed time limits of the PPM contract.
Repeat callout issues are the responsibility of the Key Account Manager to resolve once passed over from the service desk.
Regular reporting on new actions/procedures per site, first PPM visits, H&S, sub-contractor/client issues, PPM reports, quotes, repeat callouts and quality audits.
Training of new and existing Engineers on all procedures, CMMS and PPM equipment
Responsible for customer satisfaction through quality of service and effective communication.
To help plan and supervise all service operations both planned and unplanned.
Responsible for selling service repairs & processing of sales leads.
Responsible for resolving customer service quality complaints.

Desired Criteria

Electrical trade qualified, with strong technical knowledge of building services maintenance.
Electrical Testing and Verification certification.
Experience with security and life safety systems.
Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to build trusted relationships.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, callouts, subcontractors and planned maintenance schedules.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of health and safety requirements, RAMS and site compliance obligations.
Competent using service management systems, Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
Full, clean driving licence.
