Full job description

We're Hiring | Experienced Specialty Coffee Barista

East Village Coffee is looking for an experienced and passionate Specialty Coffee Barista to join our team on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week).

If you love great coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced café environment, and take pride in delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

Part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week)
Midweek and weekend shifts
Immediate start available
Friendly, supportive team environment

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3 years' experience working as a barista in a specialty coffee environment
Confident dialling in espresso and maintaining coffee quality throughout service
Excellent milk texturing and latte art skills
Passion for coffee and a genuine interest in delivering consistently high-quality drinks
Friendly, reliable and professional with excellent customer service skills
Comfortable working efficiently during busy service periods
A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Your Responsibilities

Preparing consistently high-quality espresso-based drinks
Maintaining coffee quality and workflow throughout the day
Delivering warm and professional customer service
Assisting with opening and closing duties
Keeping the coffee station clean, organised and fully stocked
Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure a smooth service
