We know our people are our greatest asset and our success is down to the commitment and dedication of our team.</p><p> </p><p>We are seeking an optimistic and enthusiastic Senior Procurement Manager to lead our tender negotiations across the Equipment & Technology (GNFR) team while bringing our 'Cost Focused' DNA to life across Ireland and Northern Ireland.</p><p> </p></div></div><div><div><h2><u>What you'll do</u></h2></div><div><p> </p><ul><li><strong>Strategic Sourcing & Cost Leadership:</strong> Develop and execute a multi-year Procurement strategy for Equipment and Technology aligned with Lidl Ireland and Northern Ireland’s growth targets and 'Cost-Focused' DNA. </li><li><strong>Negotiation Excellence:</strong> Lead high-value tender negotiations, relentlessly driving Value for Money (VFM) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across all spend areas. </li><li><strong>Supplier Relationship Management:</strong> Manage a vast, complex portfolio of local Irish and international suppliers. Act as the primary interface and the “face of Lidl Ireland and Northern Ireland” for national and international vendors. </li><li><strong>Group Networking:</strong> Build strong relationships with SBES (Schwarz Beschaffung) to deeply integrate local operations into international Procurement networks, leveraging global economies of scale. </li><li><strong>Organisational Influence and Collaboration:</strong> Manage, prioritise, and execute incoming Procurement requests from the wider business, serving as a reliable partner while ensuring all requests align with commercial goals and budget standards. </li><li><strong>Procurement as a Strategic Partner:</strong> Continue to actively broaden the Procurement team’s remit, positioning the department as a strategic partner that adds value to every area of the business. </li><li><strong>Project Management:</strong> Support cross-functional project teams by seamlessly delivering complex sourcing initiatives on schedule and within budget. </li><li><strong>Innovation:</strong> Act as a forward-thinking leader who looks beyond standard cost-savings. You will introduce agile sourcing practices and adopt emerging technologies to ensure our supplier portfolio remains resilient and modern.</li><li><strong>Governance & Compliance:</strong> Ensure strict compliance with SBES (Schwarz Beschaffung) sourcing guidelines and adherence to global KPIs. Implement Procurement best practices and ensure adherence to defined procedural standards across the business. </li><li><strong>Leadership:</strong> Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Procurement Managers, fostering a high-performance, cost-focused culture.
