Full job description

We are seeking an experienced New Build Site Manager to join our growing team on a permanent basis. We deliver high-quality residential, commercial, mixed-use and refurbishment projects throughout Galway and the West of Ireland.

The Role

Manage the day-to-day operations of new build construction sites.
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site personnel.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to Contracts Managers and senior management.
Maintain programme schedules, quality control and health & safety compliance.
Carry out regular site inspections and ensure works meet project specifications.
Organise site logistics, materials and labour to maximise productivity.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, local authorities and design teams.
Resolve site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
Oversee project completion, snagging and successful handover.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Manager, New Build Site Manager, Senior Site Manager, Foreman or Construction Supervisor.
Experience working for a main contractor is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR requirements and construction health & safety legislation.
Ability to read construction drawings and technical specifications.
Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple trades on site.
Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving ability with attention to quality and programme delivery.
Valid Safe Pass.
Full clean driving licence.
