The Role
- Manage the day-to-day operations of new build construction sites.
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site personnel.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor construction progress and provide regular updates to Contracts Managers and senior management.
- Maintain programme schedules, quality control and health & safety compliance.
- Carry out regular site inspections and ensure works meet project specifications.
- Organise site logistics, materials and labour to maximise productivity.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, local authorities and design teams.
- Resolve site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
- Oversee project completion, snagging and successful handover.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, New Build Site Manager, Senior Site Manager, Foreman or Construction Supervisor.
- Experience working for a main contractor is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR requirements and construction health & safety legislation.
- Ability to read construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple trades on site.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability with attention to quality and programme delivery.
- Valid Safe Pass.
- Full clean driving licence.
