Oblique is a leading provider of large-format print, branding and event solutions, delivering high-quality graphics and installations for clients across the events, exhibition and commercial sectors.

We are seeking a motivated and versatile Studio Operative / Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This hands-on role combines graphic design, artwork preparation, print production and finishing. You'll be involved in the entire production process—from receiving client briefs and preparing artwork to operating print machinery and producing finished products ready for installation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical mindset, a passion for design, and an interest in large-format print production. Previous print industry experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, assess and execute client briefs using industry knowledge and company procedures
Process and organise client files and project information in accordance with company SOPs
Review, proof and prepare artwork for production, making adjustments based on build specifications and construction drawings
Operate large-format UV and Latex printers to produce high-quality print work
Manage print production jobs from artwork receipt through to finished product
Carry out finishing processes including laminating, trimming, mounting, sewing and assembly
Produce vinyl graphics, roll-up banners, signage, labels and SEG fabric graphics
Operate flatbed cutting equipment, laminator and associated machinery
Assist with vinyl application and wrapping projects
Conduct quality control checks throughout production
Maintain equipment and workspaces to a high standard
Troubleshoot equipment and production issues as they arise

Skills & Experience

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
Strong understanding of artwork setup and preparing print-ready files
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Good administrative and communication skills
Fluent English essential
Full driving licence advantageous
Experience in large-format print, signage, exhibitions or events desirable but not essential

Pay: €32,000.00-€38,000.00 per year
