Kavaleer Productions are currently hiring for a Character Designer to join their team.
We’re looking for a creative Character Designer to shape the visual identity of our show’s cast from initial concept through to final design working closely with the Art Director.
- Proven experience as a Character Designer on a 2D animated series
- Strong drawing skills with a confident, versatile style
- Solid understanding of character construction for animation
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience on broadcast or streaming animated series
- Familiarity with Toon Boom Harmony
- Experience designing hero chracters and supporting cast

Kavaleer Productions was founded in 2001 and over the past 20 years have forged a position as one of Ireland’s leading animation studios, having produced over a dozen TV shows for broadcasters such as BBC, Sky, Netflix and Nickelodeon. The studio launched three new shows in 2021 and is currently preparing production for “Adam Loves Adventure!” starring Virtual Hug hero, Adam King.
