Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) provides life-saving emergency relief and longer-term medical care to some of the most vulnerable and excluded communities around the world. As an independent medical humanitarian organisation, we deliver care based only on need, regardless of ethnic origin, gender, religion or political affiliation.MSF relies on donations from private individuals and organisations for the majority of its income. This private funding gives MSF the freedom to respond where needs are greatest and to speak out publicly, free from any political interference.

MSF has around 67,000 local and international staff working in over 70 countries, in some of the most challenging places in the world. Our medical humanitarian projects are supported by offices in 44 countries, including the UK and Ireland. These teams recruit staff, organise fundraising, and raise awareness on the humanitarian crises our colleagues are witnessing, as well as running different and diverse support activities. Position:

JOB TITLE: Corporate and Community Partnerships Manager

DEPARTMENT: MSF Ireland

REPORTS TO (JOB TITLE): Head of Philanthropy

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week

LOCATION: Dublin (Hybrid)

DURATION: 3 Year Fixed Term Contract

SALARY GRADE: 15.1 - 15.4

SALARY: € 59,129.75 - € 67,013.72 (Depending on experience)

The CCPM will lead the development, growth and retention of high-value corporate and community partnerships, focussed on generating €10,000+ gifts . The role will build strong, partnership-based relationships with corporates and community groups to maximise philanthropic income, enhance supporter engagement, and contribute to the overall growth of MSF Ireland’s / MSF global philanthropy growth ambitions.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the post holder will play a key role in shaping and delivering the corporate and community fundraising strategy, with a focus on developing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships aligned to organisational priorities and impact.

Requirements:

Knowledge

Appreciation of relevant legislation as it applies to corporate and community fundraising
Knowledge of ethical practices in fundraising.
Knowledge of corporate and community fundraising best practices.
Understanding of corporate charitable giving trends in Ireland.

Experience

Proven experience (3-5 years) of corporate (essential) and community (preferable) fundraising
Proven track record of managing €50k+annual corporate relationships
Extensive proven experience in developing and implementing corporate strategy and managing pipelines.
Experience of using databases, including the analysis and interpretation of information.
Experience working in a philanthropic fundraising environment / team.
Experience in the practical use of personal IT equipment, Microsoft Office 365 suite, Teams, Sharepoint etc.

Skills

Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise a dynamic workload and to work independently with minimum supervision and to tight deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to analyse complex information and compile powerful and persuasive, bespoke proposals and reports.
Highly motivated; ability to operate under own initiative within a general framework, with capability to use own initiative and seize relevant opportunities.
Proactive and positive approach.
Willingness to collaborate and ability to work supportively and effectively within and across teams
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Strong diplomatic, persuasion and negotiating skills.
Passionate about MSF’s mission and values
