Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2)

St. Michael's House Services is a community-based organisation committed to providing a quality person-centred service and high standard of living to people with an intellectual disability in the greater Dublin area. We are dedicated to supporting individuals to enjoy experiences, opportunities, and lifestyles like their peers through individualised, inclusive supports.

A vacancy exists for a full-time permanent Clinical Nurse Manager 2 in Willowglade, Goatstown.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates. This role requires a strong ability to lead a team, to problem solve, and to work on ones own initiative.

Essential Criteria:

Hold an RNID qualification and be currently registered and approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Applicants from other nursing disciplines with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of intellectual disability may also apply.
Hold a recognised accredited management qualification.
Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a management or supervisory role within health or social care, with responsibility for managing budgets and resources.
Demonstrate experience in staff support, leading teams, resource management, and performing administrative duties.
Be knowledgeable of the Health Act 2007 and have experience and understanding of HIQA Regulations (2013).
Possess a working knowledge of the Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse Policy.
Be committed to delivering a quality, individualised, person-centred service.
Demonstrate strong teamwork and leadership skills.
Have experience in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in health promotion, manage health conditions, and deliver high quality clinical practice.

Person in Charge (PIC) Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will also undertake Person in Charge (PIC) duties as outlined under the Health Act 2007 and relevant HIQA regulations, ensuring effective governance, oversight, and operational management of the designated centre. The CNM2 will be responsible for:

Leading the implementation and maintenance of high-quality care standards in line with HIQA regulations.
Ensuring robust risk management, incident reporting, and safeguarding procedures.
Supporting staff development, compliance monitoring, and continuous quality improvement.
Driving person-centred planning, promoting autonomy and social inclusion for all residents.

Salary Scale:

Successful candidates will be paid in line with the revised consolidated HSE Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Scale i.e., Point 1: 62,699 to Point 11: 79,227 LSI pro rata per annum based on 37.5 hours per week.
