This position is for Module equipment technicians in the WPM C4 department, you will see the tangible impact of your work on the world around you. Key Responsibilities:

Wafer Production: Perform functions associated with all aspects of wafer production, including operations, equipment handling, and process training.
Equipment Maintenance: Conduct maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and work on defect-reduction.
Technical Proficiency: Utilize technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, schematics, and verbal instructions to perform tasks.

Problem Solving:

Apply problem-solving techniques, use various tools, and test equipment to address production challenges.
Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and installs/assembles equipment according to spec procedures.
Performs setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment, and coordinates with supplier for service and repairs where needed.
Monitors and analyses all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool/module related issues.
Creates reports of system failures, updates existing specs, and creates new specs that supports overall equipment maintenance/performance.
Works with Module Engineering to execute experiments and equipment configuration changes, supports data collection activities, and generally completes tasks per published procedures.
Supports Engineering with module equipment troubleshooting through data analysis and controlled experimentation that will meet or improve module availability and performance targets preventing future excursions.

Notes:
This role is a shift-based role and requires Mandatory onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities. Candidates must have ability to work on a monthly rotating shift pattern. Exact shift details are shared during interview stage.

Qualifications:

Education:

National Framework Qualification (NFQ) Level 6/7 in a technical discipline AND
3+ years in technical / semiconductor / pharmaceutical / biomedical /medical device manufacturing OR
3+ years of hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance in a regulated environment OR

Preferred Experience (Not essential):

Hands-on maintenance of semiconductor equipment.
Influencing the creation of new specifications, procedures, and business processes related to equipment maintenance.
Knowledge of process control systems.
Experience troubleshooting using schematics and complex diagrams.
Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing disciplines - High Precision Maintenance and Smart Place Work Organization.
Maintaining vacuum systems, precision mechanical equipment, or RF systems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a diverse team and multitask.
Capability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.

Annual Salary Range for this job which could be performed in Ireland is: €35,800.00 - €55,900.00

The compensation range shown in this job posting represents the minimum and maximum target compensation for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, relevant education or training. As part of our total compensation approach, the final offer may include additional pay components, shift differentials and benefits. Your recruiting team will share the confirmed base salary along with any applicable total compensation elements upon employment offer delivery.
