Full job description

We are expanding and we are looking to take on a Senior Bar Tender.

Currently the group consists of 2 pubs, The Step Inn in Stepaside and Revel Bar in Rathfarnham Village. The Step Inn consists of a high volume combination of restaurant quality food and gastro pub with staple and signature dishes. Revels is bar that produces gastro pub favourite dishes with the addition of a tapas /small bits menu.

The Role

Revels Bar is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable Bartender to join our team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

The successful candidate will have previous bar experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining high standards during busy service. There is also potential to progress into a managerial role if desired

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.
Ensure the bar is clean, fully stocked, and well-presented at all times.
Process cash and card payments accurately.
Check customer identification and serve alcohol responsibly in line with licensing laws.
Work closely with floor staff and management to ensure smooth service.
Assist with stock replenishment, deliveries, and general bar duties.
Help maintain excellent hygiene and health & safety standards.
Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to return.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years +' experience working in a busy bar or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Fluent spoken English.
Knowledge of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails is an advantage.
