We are expanding and we are looking to take on a Senior Bar Tender.
Currently the group consists of 2 pubs, The Step Inn in Stepaside and Revel Bar in Rathfarnham Village. The Step Inn consists of a high volume combination of restaurant quality food and gastro pub with staple and signature dishes. Revels is bar that produces gastro pub favourite dishes with the addition of a tapas /small bits menu.
The Role
Revels Bar is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable Bartender to join our team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
The successful candidate will have previous bar experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining high standards during busy service. There is also potential to progress into a managerial role if desired
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure the bar is clean, fully stocked, and well-presented at all times.
- Process cash and card payments accurately.
- Check customer identification and serve alcohol responsibly in line with licensing laws.
- Work closely with floor staff and management to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with stock replenishment, deliveries, and general bar duties.
- Help maintain excellent hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to return.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years +' experience working in a busy bar or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Fluent spoken English.
- Knowledge of beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails is an advantage.

Pay: €35,000.00-€41,000.00 per year
