Full job description

Roadstone Ltd invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Dispatch Clerk, Dublin Central Orders, Concrete. This role is based full-time in our Head Office in Belgard.

About The Role

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Schedule deliveries to fully optimise the fleet of trucks
Dealing with incoming calls in a timely manner
Consistently delivering excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding KPI’s and targets
Foster and develop good relations with both existing and potential customers to ensure retention and growth
Maintain and enhance working relationships with key stakeholders within the business
Maintain / Implement good working practices and procedures to ensure that the department is run efficiently and with professionalism
Pro-actively look for continuous improvement within the department
Creating a positive company impression by being friendly, professional, and helpful on every contact
Confidently addressing any objections or issues, escalating complex cases to a supervisor as needed
Open to learning other aspects of the business
Reporting of Complaints and Safety issues to the Location Manager
Admin tasks as required

The above list is not exhaustive. The successful candidate will be expected to perform duties as necessitated by the changing role and the overall business objectives of the Company, as directed.

System knowledge an advantage but not essential as training will be provided
Strong organisational skills with a serious attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual with a desire for personal, company and Group achievement.

Required Criteria

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus
