About The Role
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Schedule deliveries to fully optimise the fleet of trucks
- Dealing with incoming calls in a timely manner
- Consistently delivering excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding KPI’s and targets
- Foster and develop good relations with both existing and potential customers to ensure retention and growth
- Maintain and enhance working relationships with key stakeholders within the business
- Maintain / Implement good working practices and procedures to ensure that the department is run efficiently and with professionalism
- Pro-actively look for continuous improvement within the department
- Creating a positive company impression by being friendly, professional, and helpful on every contact
- Confidently addressing any objections or issues, escalating complex cases to a supervisor as needed
- Open to learning other aspects of the business
- Reporting of Complaints and Safety issues to the Location Manager
- Admin tasks as required

The successful candidate must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual with a desire for personal, company and Group achievement.
Required Criteria
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with process improvement initiatives is a plus
