Career Progression: Transition into a specialized, permanent role in IT Support or Business Development Role after 12 months based on candidate strengths and interest.

About the Role

Want to start a career in technology, but not sure whether you belong in client-facing sales or technical engineering? You don't have to choose yet.

We are offering a comprehensive 1-Year IT Traineeship that combines hands-on retail customer experience, hardware troubleshooting, and enterprise IT service delivery. Over 12 months, you will learn how technology works across every level—from helping everyday retail customers pick the right gear to supporting live SME and Education IT environments.

At the end of your 1-year contract, based on your performance, strengths, and personal preference, you will have a clear path to specialize into a permanent role in IT Support Engineering or IT Sales & Account Management.

What You’ll Be Doing & Learning1. Retail Shop Operations & Customer Engagement

Customer-Facing Time: Spend dedicated time in our retail store developing front-line communication, active listening, and customer service skills.
Domestic Tech Support: Troubleshoot and diagnose everyday consumer PC/laptop hardware and software queries directly with customers.
Product Knowledge: Learn the ins and outs of our retail hardware range to recommend the right laptops, components, and accessories.

2. Onsite & Remote Technical Support

SME & Education Support: Provide both remote helpdesk support and on-site technical assistance for local businesses and schools.
Diagnostics & Hardware Setup: Build, reimage, and repair laptops, desktops, and endpoint devices.
Modern Security & Systems: Gain exposure to enterprise IT concepts including EDR/XDR (endpoint security), IaaS / SaaS cloud platforms, and modern deployment tools.

3. Professional Service Delivery & Operations

ITIL Service Delivery: Learn to work within an ITIL-aligned service model, managing tickets, incidents, and client SLA expectations professionally.
CRM & Tools: Master professional Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, ticketing systems, and inventory tracking.

What We’re Looking For

A strong passion for computer hardware, consumer tech, and modern IT systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a natural customer-first approach.
A logical mindset with a drive to troubleshoot and fix technical problems.
Strong organizational skills and comfortable learning business software (CRM, ticketing platforms).
High energy, adaptability, and eager to learn across both retail and corporate environments.
Bonus: Previous retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience.
Bonus: CompTIA A+, Network+, or relevant vocational IT studies (or working towards them).
