Full job description

Location: Arklow, Co. Wicklow

Coatek is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to coordinate our day-to-day production and installation activities.

This is a key role within the business, ensuring projects are properly planned, resourced, and delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

You will work closely with our sales, design, production, project management, finance, and installation teams, as well as external contractors and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily and weekly production and installation schedules
Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and other resources
Book and manage installers and external contractors
Monitor project progress and address delays, scheduling conflicts, and resource issues
Ensure teams receive accurate and timely job information
Work with sales and production teams to agree realistic project timelines
Monitor installer and subcontractor performance
Maintain installer certifications, insurance details, tickets, and compliance records
Ensure installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard
Maintain accurate schedules, operational records, contractor costs, and project information
Work with finance to ensure job and contractor information is up to date
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer service
Support operational reporting, procedures, health and safety, and continuous improvement initiatives

About you

You will be a highly organised and commercially aware operations professional who is comfortable managing multiple teams, schedules, and priorities.

You will have:

At least three years’ experience in operations, scheduling, production planning, project coordination, or a similar role
At least two years’ experience coordinating busy schedules
Experience managing teams, contractors, projects, or field-based resources
Strong planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping ability
The confidence to take ownership of operational issues
Experience using scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office
The ability to remain calm and make practical decisions when priorities change

Experience in signage, print, fit-out, construction, manufacturing, installations, logistics, or field service operations would be an advantage.
