Job Discription:

Key responsibilities

Team and people management:
Manage and supervise all pharmacy staff.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture.
Conduct staff training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
Ensure staff are clear on their roles, responsibilities, and performance standards.
Commercial and operational management:
Drive sales performance and identify new business opportunities.
Manage budgets, including wages, and work to optimize profitability.
Oversee inventory management, stock control, and cash handling according to company procedures.
Ensure efficient daily operations and maintain a high level of customer service.
Manage and maintain store standards, including merchandising and stock rotation.
Compliance and administration:
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
Enforce all departmental and organizational policies.
Maintain accurate records for purchasing, dispensing, and other activities.

Essential skills and experience

Proven management experience, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
Excellent organizational and customer service abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Main duties

Ability to build rapport with customers, oﬀering them compelling reasons to return Excellent communication skills and capable of working on own initiative.
Driving sales and reaching targets
Leading the team to be productive by building a culture of trust, openness and support
Encouraging colleagues development and identifying training needs
Ability to work in all areas of the store
Seek new business opportunities by examining the market and competitor activities.
Ensure all team members are aware of and understand their role and responsibilities in the pharmacy. Engage actively with customers and provide a high standard of customer service.
Proactive in managing personal development and other projects as they arise.
Keep up to date with all company Human Resources policies.
Ability to prioritize and work in a conﬁdential environment with a high attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
