Key responsibilities
- Team and people management:
- Manage and supervise all pharmacy staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team culture.
- Conduct staff training, mentoring, and performance reviews.
- Ensure staff are clear on their roles, responsibilities, and performance standards.
- Commercial and operational management:
- Drive sales performance and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage budgets, including wages, and work to optimize profitability.
- Oversee inventory management, stock control, and cash handling according to company procedures.
- Ensure efficient daily operations and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Manage and maintain store standards, including merchandising and stock rotation.
- Compliance and administration:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Enforce all departmental and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate records for purchasing, dispensing, and other activities.
Essential skills and experience
- Proven management experience, preferably in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Excellent organizational and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
