Cleaning Supervisor

Dublin Airport - Full time

Please note: Due to airport security requirements, applicants must hold a valid passport with at least 6 months' validity remaining, have a minimum B2 level of English, and be able to successfully complete Garda Vetting and Aviation Security Clearance. Employment is conditional upon meeting all of these requirements.

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across designated airport areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and customer service are maintained at all times. You will lead and motivate a team of cleaning operatives while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with Sodexo and airport procedures.

What you'll do:

Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaning operatives across multiple airport locations.
Allocate daily work schedules and monitor completion of tasks.
Carry out regular quality inspections to ensure cleaning standards consistently meet contractual requirements.
Lead by example and provide hands-on support where operationally required.
Deliver team briefings and ensure effective communication across shifts.
Train, coach and support new and existing team members.
Monitor attendance, performance and employee engagement.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, COSHH and airport security procedures.
Complete daily reports, audits and operational documentation accurately.
Manage stock levels and ensure cleaning equipment and materials are maintained and used correctly.
Respond promptly to operational issues, customer requests and service requirements.
Work collaboratively with Sodexo management and airport stakeholders to maintain excellent service delivery.
Promote a positive safety culture and encourage continuous improvement.

What you'll bring:

Previous experience in a Cleaning Supervisor, Team Leader or similar supervisory role.
Experience leading teams within commercial, industrial, transport, healthcare, hospitality or facilities management environments.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy operational environment.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems.
Flexible approach to working rotating shifts.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
