Beltech Industrial delivers specialist maintenance solutions to industrial clients throughout Ireland. We utilise advanced composite repair systems, protective coatings, concrete repair materials and engineered maintenance technologies to extend asset life and solve complex maintenance challenges.
We are seeking an experienced site-based operative with practical experience in industrial coatings, composites, surface preparation, blasting, maintenance or related industrial services.
This is not a standard painting position. We are looking for a hands-on individual who wants to develop specialist skills working with advanced repair and protection systems across a wide range of industrial environments.
Our office is based in Dublin; however, projects are carried out nationwide. Applicants must be willing to travel and stay away from home during the working week when required.
The Role
- Application of specialist protective coatings and lining systems.
- Installation of composite repair systems.
- Surface preparation including abrasive blasting and mechanical preparation.
- Work safely within highly regulated industrial environments.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and safety.
- Work closely with customers and Beltech supervisors to deliver successful project outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' site-based experience in industrial maintenance, coatings, blasting, construction, utilities, mechanical, fabrication or related industries.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Proven reliability, attendance and work ethic.
- Ability to travel nationwide and work away from home during the week.
Desirable Experience
- Protective coating application.
- Abrasive blasting.
- Composite repair systems.
- Concrete repair and remediation.
- Industrial shutdown work.
- Working in power generation, water treatment, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Confined Space, IPAF, MEWP, Abrasive Wheels or equivalent certifications.
- Experience with protective coatings, epoxy systems, composite repair materials or corrosion protection systems would be a distinct advantage.
Particularly Relevant Experience
Candidates with experience in industrial coatings, composite repairs, corrosion protection, grit blasting, mechanical maintenance, fabrication, utilities and industrial shutdown activities are strongly encouraged to apply.
