What you'll be doing

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager within our Cross-border division and is located in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will be speaking to business owners and C-level executives to learn more about their business and international payments needs, and ultimately, determining how Corpay can help do them more efficiently and cost-effectively. Your prospecting will pave the way for new business opportunities and will enable you to build and grow your sales skillsets, while positioning yourself as a thought leader within the organization. You will report directly to our Sales Director and regularly collaborate with our internal sales teams.

How We Work

As a Business Development Manager, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Assigned workspace in Dublin.
Company-issued equipment.
Formal, hands-on training.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

Identify business opportunities by sourcing prospects and evaluating their FX needs.
Harvest sales channels within the sales region as per the regionalised strategy and target markets. This activity includes, but is not limited to: Business Networking, Exhibitions, Specific sponsorship events, Telephone solicitation etc.
Selling Corpay solutions using a consultative approach and truly understanding client’s needs, presenting solutions based upon their needs and fully explaining our value proposition and online product portfolio.
Manage client onboarding processes while maintaining an exemplary customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills

A technologist, and someone who embraces sales automation technology.
Excited about working in the fast paced FX industry where global events and economic announcements are impacting daily what we speak about with prospects.
Strategic-thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit – you approach sales open-mindedly.
An interest in foreign exchange and finance.
Proven Sales and analytical skills for successful business generation.
Previous outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience would be desirable.
Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers and the ability to build rapports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus strong interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and focused, combined with effective organisational and time management skills.
Professional demeanor to prospective and current clients coupled with strong listening skills.
The ability to work as a team player towards a specific sales goal.
Attention to detail, particularly with respect to client information and payment data, plus strong mathematical skills.

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is €45,000 – €55,000 gross per year. The final offer will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including relevant skills, professional experience, and qualifications. Corpay maintains structured compensation practices and regularly reviews pay to support compliance with equal pay principles and applicable EU legislation. Additional compensation elements, including benefits and variable pay (if applicable), will be discussed during the recruitment process.
