We are currently seeking a POWER Cleaner to join the team in The Dean Dublin Centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for details, with previous experience in Housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality roles.

Job Purpose

The Power Cleaner is responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all gym areas, with particular focus on changing rooms and the thermal suite area (sauna/steam room). This role ensures that high-traffic areas such as workout zones, locker rooms, studios, and especially the thermal suite remain safe, sanitary, and welcoming for members and staff. By performing intensive cleaning tasks and maintaining equipment, the Power Cleaner supports the overall operation and presentation of the gym, contributing directly to member satisfaction and safety.

Role Responsibilities

Deep Cleaning & Equipment Operation

Perform scheduled deep cleaning of gym areas including floors, walls, locker rooms, restrooms, equipment zones, Showers, and thermal suite area (pool area, sauna, steam room)
Operate and maintain industrial cleaning machines such as floor scrubbers, and vacuums.
Ensure all fitness equipment, mats, and fixtures are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
Follow detailed cleaning schedules to maintain consistent standards throughout the facility.
Support general facility upkeep to preserve a professional and safe environment for members and visitors.

Health & Safety Compliance

Adhere to gym health, hygiene, and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and machinery.
Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety guidelines when operating power cleaning equipment.
Report any hazards, accidents, or maintenance concerns immediately to the Facilities Manager.
Maintain compliance with fire safety and emergency procedures.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with the Facilities and Operations teams to coordinate cleaning schedules and priorities.
Support other cleaning and maintenance staff during peak periods or special events.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to ensure a seamless, high-standard operation.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in industrial, gym, pool area, sauna, steam room or facility deep cleaning is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of health and safety protocols, or willingness to undergo training.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
