MISSION

WinPower has been operating on the national and international markets for over 30 years on the domains of engineering, Operation & Maintenance of energy generation solutions and providing services for the energy transition of its customers and partners. One of the strategic goals of the organization is to give an opportunity to workers who want to participate in disruptive projects on the energy sector and build new opportunities with the WinPower Team.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

High school diploma (12th year of education);
Technical/vocational training in electrical and mechanical systems;
Practical certification (e.g. Merchant Navy operator or engine room technician);
Experience as a plant operator or shift supervisor in power generation facilities;
Knowledge and practical experience with industrial supervision systems;
Knowledge and practical experience with mechanical workshop tasks, repairs and overhauls of electro-mechanical equipment
Knowledge and practical experience with handling, storage, and treatment of fuels and lubricants
Experience managing inventories of tools and materials;
Familiarity with maintenance scheduling and equipment inspections;
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to operational objectives;
Good organisational and coordination skills;
Ability to work independently and in a team, including shift work;
Willingness to work flexible hours or in shift rotation;
Attention to detail and focus on quality and safety;
Computer literacy (user-level IT skills);
Continuous learning mindset;
Fluent or proficient in English, with the ability to understand and apply technical documentation.

WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY

Operate the plant and optimise process parameters parameters;
Coordinate with field personnel from the Central Control Room (CCR) to ensure smooth plant operations;
Act as the daily point of contact for the National Control Centre (NCC) during engine testing on the grid;
Issue weekly test profiles to NCC once received from MAN;
Operate the EDIL system daily; receive and act on NCC instructions; log grid-related testing delays;
Measure, monitor and record various process parameters; maintain plant and shift logs;
Carry out daily inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring no abnormal noises, leaks or odours;
Perform and support scheduled maintenance and equipment overhauls (generators, boilers, centrifuges, pumps, etc);
Ensure that equipment for all systems remain operational and regularly maintained;
Support and train Operators during shifts and help resolve operational issues;
Ensure the correct execution of Operator duties and shift schedules;
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in key áreas (control room, engine hall, workshop, etc);
Check stock levels of consumables (fuel, oil, chemicals) and manage inventory of materials and tools;
Preserve and properly store technical documentation, schedules, spare part lists, and service orders;
Comply with and enforce safety and hygiene regulations;
Contribute to the implementation of WinPower’s Quality Policy and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
