UCC invites applications to the post of University Language Teacher. The role of a University Language Teacher (‘ULT’) is to teach courses in a specific language. In the case of modern languages, a ULT will have native or near-native fluency in the relevant language and in the teaching of the primary skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking the language. In the case of ancient languages, a ULT will be able to demonstrate excellence in the relevant language and in the primary skills of reading and writing. With these skills and through the resourceful and creative application of varied learning technologies, the ULT creates an environment for students to learn effectively.

Appointment may be made on the University Language Teacher Salary Scale: €52,035 – €67,426 (Scale B)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
