Role: Event Assistant

Team: Marketing

Contract: 12 months fixed term contract.

Mason Hayes Curran LLP is a leading Irish law firm based in Dublin with representative offices in San Francisco, New York and London. The firm has been the fastest growing law firm in Ireland over the last decade. We are a business law firm with extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of Irish business-related law and with particular focus on the Energy, Technology, Financial Services, Built Environment, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Charities sectors.

We are currently recruiting an Event Assistant to join our marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Duties Responsibilities

Plan and deliver physical, virtual, and hybrid events that align with the firm’s marketing and business development goals.
Work with stakeholders to design event agendas, formats, and content tailored to specific audiences.
Manage event logistics, budgets, timelines, and compliance with legal industry regulations, including GDPR.
Oversee technical hosting, running orders, and production elements to ensure smooth event delivery.
Maintain brand consistency across all event materials, ensuring high-quality messaging.
Build and manage relationships with suppliers, venues, and production partners.
Analyse event performance, gather feedback, and provide recommendations to enhance future events.

Skills Qualifications

3+ year experience within a similar event focused role.
Proven experience delivering physical, virtual, and hybrid events, ideally within professional services.
Proficiency with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams) and familiarity with AV and production workflows.
Strong organisational, project management, and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to propose innovative event formats and solutions.
Knowledge of marketing principles and the ability to align events with wider business development objectives.
