Location: Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, Ireland

Position: Bookkeeper

Type: Contract Full or Part Time

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions: Accurately process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and financial statements.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management.
Budgeting: Assist in preparing and managing the firm's budget.
Expense Management: Monitor and control office expenses, seeking possible cost-saving opportunities.
Payroll Processing: Accurately process employee payroll, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.
Audit Preparation: Assist in preparing financial documentation for audits and cooperate with auditors as needed.
Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations in the legal industry.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
Payroll
Experience is desirable but not essential.
