Full job description

The Powerscourt Hotel, Resort & Spa is currently recruiting for Kitchen Stewards who are highly motivated, well organised and passionate in delivering memorable experiences to join our Kitchen Team .

This role offers a competitive salary, ongoing training and complimentary transport to and from Bray Dart Station.

All applicants must be eligible to work in the EU.

About the role:

You will be required:

To wash and sanitise pots, pans and other kitchen utensils/equipment according to hotel specifications and standards.
To clean and maintain equipment and to ensure cleanliness in pot washing / kitchen / cafeteria /compactor/storage areas.
To wash crockery, glasses and cutlery by operating the dishwashing machine.
To complete other special cleaning projects as assigned.

The Ideal candidate will possess the:

Ability satisfactorily communicate in job-related English.
Ability to perform duties with attention to details, speed, accuracy, follow-through and cooperativeness.
Ability to follow directions.
Adapt to meet priority changes of workflow or requirements.
Ability to operate designated machinery.
Ability to remain alert and observant while operating machinery.
Ability to exert physical effort in transporting equipment and wares.
Ability to withstand high temperatures, moisture and noise levels in work areas.
