About the role

This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding Marketing team. The Sales and Marketing team delivers a wide spectrum of sponsorships and events, designed to build brand profile and cultivate strong client relationships. The role is perfect for an ambitious and motivated individual who would thrive in a fast moving environment.

You will support the Events & Sponsorship Manager in the execution of our Events & Sponsorship strategy.

Responsibilities

Event Planning & Execution:

Support the Events and Sponsorship manager with the development and implementation of comprehensive event strategies aligned with company and service line goals.
Project manage various firm events, including launches, conferences, seminars, roundtables, broadcasts and hospitality events.
Support with end-to-end planning, execution and evaluation of events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional attendee experiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet event objectives, budget and timelines.
Support with the preplanning of events, such as attendee lists through CRM, invitations, speakers, event registration, equipment, and promotional items.
Source and manage external vendors and suppliers to support event logistics and production.
Negotiate rates and manage contracts with vendors, including hotels, caterers and audio/visual suppliers, on behalf of the firm.
Be present at live events to ensure smooth running and implementation.
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and identify areas for improvement.

Business Support

Providing general marketing and administration support for the Events and Sponsorship Manager.
Support in the preparation of proposals, pitches and presentations in a timely and accurate manner, including research and branding.

Budget Management

Assist the management of budgets, invoicing and purchase orders ensuring effective cost control.

Skills, experience and attributes required

Third-level degree in a Business or Marketing discipline with a solid academic record.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work under pressure and prepared to focus all efforts to meet deadlines.
Ability to interact effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders at all levels.
Previous experience using a Client Relationship Management system (Microsoft Dynamics) an advantage
Ability to use Zoom an advantage
Ability to host webinars is an advantage
Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working with Adobe suite an advantage
Previous experience working in a Marketing environment is an advantage

Given the nature of the role, we expect our team to be available to work outside of regular office hours to facilitate and ensure the smooth running of these events and possibly travel to the Limerick and Galway offices when required.
