About the Opportunity With a focus on community and support network behind them, our employees feel confident and motivated to challenge themselves and grow with the business. As the successful candidate you will report into the Head of Credit Control / Accounts Receivable. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the collection and resolution of outstanding balances for a given customer database.
- Ensuring customer queries are responded to in a timely manner.
- Co-ordinating the completion of new customer/credit application forms including the checking of trade references.
- Preparing credit limit increase applications.
- Ensuring that all company credit control procedures are adhered to.
- Ensuring that company lodgement and cash handling policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Liaise with management and sales teams regarding account updates and progress.
- Establish good working relationships with all customers (external and internal).
- Complete month end tasks.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Using EDI and customer portals for processing invoices.
- Invoice discounting sales and reports.
- Work with Finance and I.T. to develop debt reports and facilitate trend analysis.
- Identify process improvements, use digital tools e.g. robots and automation.
- Participate in and lead projects using project management tools and processes.
What you will bring to Dairygold:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, management, or finance.
- Previous experience would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to problem solve.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, with advanced MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, communication and interpersonal skills.
