Are you passionate about skincare, a talented writer with exceptional communication skills who is ready to be the voice of a brand that believes in authentic, ancestral beauty rituals?

The ideal candidate will be the main point of contact for our customers and will be responsible for all communications towards the customers ensuring high-quality customer service is provided. From simple queries to more complex support, consultation and advice about the use of products, your role will include serious commitment and dedication to provide the highest possible level of service.

The candidate will also be responsible for crafting engaging and educational content for social media channels. Proficiency in writing and crafting social media content and proven experience in social media is a must.

Before everything else, you are a doer, highly motivated and reliable person with a strong work ethic and second-to-none standard of quality. You will be expected to work as a part of the team and be independent and confident in your work.

This is a role for someone ready to learn, grow and change as the company rapidly grows.

We're looking for a talented, reliable and confident Customer Relationships Specialist to join our team and build strong, lasting relationships with our customers while managing our brand’s communication across multiple platforms.

Position: Customer Relationships Specialist

Location: Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford

Employment Type: Full-time, 8 hours per day. Flexible working hours after completing probation and training, 9 am to 6 pm office work during probationary and training period. Flexibility in the hours of work will be required and expected so that the customer service level is maintained.

Salary: €38k - €42k per annum

Ancestral Cosmetics is a fast-growing animal-based skincare brand with a global presence. We hand-craft skincare products from Irish beef tallow (melted beef fat) and we sell them globally. So far we have shipped our products to more than 50 countries on 6 continents. Our three main warehouses serve our busiest markets: the USA, UK and Ireland.

Your Responsibilities will be:

Customer Relationship and consulting: Act as the main point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and interactions via email, social media comments, and messages. You’ll provide knowledgeable support and ensure a positive, engaging experience for every customer.
Offer advice and consult customers about company products and how to use them while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Email Campaigns: Develop and write effective email campaigns that resonate with our audience, sharing our products, tips, and brand stories.
Content Creation for Social Media: Create and post simple, engaging social media content, including behind-the-scenes moments and stories that showcase our brand’s personality.
Blog Posts: Write knowledgeable blog articles about skincare, beauty rituals, and natural ingredients to inform and inspire our customers.
BTS Social Media Content: Record and share authentic behind-the-scenes (BTS) content, working on stories, and simple ad materials for partner agencies to maintain a dynamic presence online.
Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with agencies, suppliers, and partners to coordinate marketing efforts and maximise reach.
Manage Referral & Loyalty Programs: Oversee our customer referral, loyalty, and affiliate programs, building positive and rewarding relationships with our valued customers.

Who are you?

Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
You have extremely high-quality standards and strong attention to detail in every aspect of your work.
A talented and passionate writer well able to express yourself through any written work and compose any written piece of content independently. Your writing skills are extraordinary in both creating written content and in customer/business communication. Copywriting experience is a plus!
You have proven experience in digital marketing and social media channels with a proven record of managing multi-channel communication and creating content for different channels.
You are natural at using digital tools for communication and content creation such as email, Canva, and video editing tools such as CapCut or similar.
You have a strong interest in skincare and natural beauty. Experience in the skincare industry is a plus!
You are an amazing communicator, your writing is clear, engaging, and tailored to the specific audience. You understand the art of connecting with customers through words.
You love working with people and are motivated by helping customers find solutions that suit them.
You’re comfortable working in a collaborative, fast growing start up environment, engaging with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and customer satisfaction.

Your experience is:

Proven experience working in a customer service environment in an e-commerce company or similar is required.
Proven experience working in a digital marketing industry (agency, freelance or similar)
Experienced user of the following software: Shopify, Klaviyo, Canva, CapCut (or similar video editing software), and WMS tools such as ShipHero and MintSoft is highly beneficial.
Proven track record of writing and expressing yourself in written form. Successful candidates on the first interview round will be required to provide a sample of their writing capabilities.
