Head of Tour Logistics/Operations

Cadent Sourcing has partnered with a rapidly growing provider of guided tours of attractions all over Europe. They are one of the continents leading providers, with a reputation for quality.

They are seeking a Head of Operations to manage 3 distinct teams focusing on the smooth running of the tours and overall business operations.

This is a Senior role in the organisation and will liaise closely with the C-Suite as well as operational staff. The ideal candidate will have both Strategic and Operational experience, Process Improvement skills and Experience in Leading and Mentoring staff at different levels.

Required:

People Leadership & Mentoring: Experience in managing managers across a number of teams, with demonstrable experience in Mentoring key performers.
Performance Management: Experience in Creating, Setting and Tracking Performance KPIs with all teams. Moreover, leading reward for top performers, and enacting improvement plans for team members that need it.
Process Improvement: Experience in identifying needed changes, presenting business cases and overseeing the delivery of the changes.
Ideally these changes will have improved operational processes and/or utilised more data.
Reporting and Data Analytics: Previous background in data led upward reporting to C-Suite level as well as experience in using the data to drive improvements.
Ability to Gather & Analyse the data with strong MS Excel skills is an advantage.
Experience in a Travel, Tourism or Hospitality type industry is an advantage.
Experience in a scaling business or one where Best Practices were implemented during your time is also an advantage.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.

Duties:

Provide Leadership to 3 Managers of 3 distinct Teams and to their teams.
Review the current processes within the teams, particularly those around Performance & Leadership, and implement improved processes.
Continually monitor the effectiveness of the changes.
Introduce & Use enhanced Data and Metrics for the Team’s performance. Use this Data to support the Managers of each team and report upwards on overall performance.
Gather, analyse and drive actions from established and new data sets.
Report to and contribute to Senior Leadership decision making for the whole organisation.
Bring Commercial thinking to Operational scenarios, as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €70,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
