We are currently seeking highly-motivated Basic Grade Physiotherapists to join our teams in Wicklow.
Contract Type: Permanent Post.
Contract Hours: 35 hours per week.
Salary Scale: 42,384 61,945 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSIs (Long Service Increments)
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Annual Leave Entitlement: 32 days per annum.
Overview of the Post:
Enable Ireland delivers childrens services through the Childrens Disability Network Teams (CDNT) under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a range of Physiotherapy services for young people (0 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework. Service will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development. This will be delivered through a family centred approach across a variety of settings including the clinic, preschools, schools, childrens homes and community settings.

The successful candidate will have:
Essential Criteria:
- Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
AND
- Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
AND
- Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
AND
- Eligible to work in the State.
Annual registration
- On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU
AND
- Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.
Desirable Criteria:
- Post graduate work experience as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience of interdisciplinary team working.
- Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
- Any relevant post graduate training specific to child disability services. e.g. Hanen, Lamh, PECS, ADOS, AT training.
- Experience in working with Assistive Technology.
- Post graduate experience in a public sector health service.
- Experience working on or completing a placement with a CDNT.
- Relevant voluntary experience working with children or people with disabilities.
