fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate Director of Operations to join Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort and lead teams across all operational outlets
We are looking for a candidate who is immaculately presented, engages well with guests and who can lead their team effectively with flair and skill. They must be someone who exudes a passion for service experiences and shows genuine heartfelt care for their team and our guests.
As Operations Manager you will be responsible for:

Proven experience in hotel operations management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.

Extensive knowledge of hotel departments including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, conference and banqueting, and food & beverage.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-
Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach.
-
Ability to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and control costs effectively.
-
Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and general hotel software.
-
Understanding of health & safety, legal compliance, and employment regulations.
-
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays as required.
The Role:
-
Oversee day-to-day operations across all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, conference and banqueting, food and beverage, and guest services.

Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction and address any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Supervise, train, and support departmental managers and staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
-
Monitor labour, expenses, and profitability to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to enhance productivity and guest experience.

Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
-
Ensure compliance with health, safety, licensing, and employment regulations.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure maintenance and cleanliness standards are upheld.

Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of staff.

Analyse occupancy trends, guest feedback, and service reports to drive continuous improvement.
Successful candidates for this job will:

Must have at least 2 years of 4 or 5 star experience within a similar role

Demonstrate a strong leadership presence and take a proactive hands on role in order to identify and support colleagues on all levels

Be an inspirational leader who is passionate about creating highly energised teams to provide world class service

Be fluent in spoken and written English
Demonstrate the ability to work in a pressured environment
