We are an established event brand launching a new high-energy, alcohol-free youth entertainment concept.
Our events combine a live DJ, dancefloor, arcade-style gaming zones and interactive social games to create a fun, safe and memorable night out for teenagers.
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Arcade & Tech Crew to help set up, run and manage our gaming and entertainment zones during 3-hour weekend evening events.
This is a casual role, with the potential for regular recurring shifts as our event series grows.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will be responsible for helping manage our interactive entertainment areas, which may include:
- Nintendo Switch gaming zones
- Giant 4-player Mario Kart on projector screens
- Retro gaming setups
- Party pong-style games
- Electronic social games
- Other interactive arcade-style activities
Because the featured games may change from event to event, you’ll need to be comfortable plugging in, testing and managing different types of equipment.
Duties include:
- Setting up consoles, screens, projectors, controllers and basic AV equipment
- Testing games before attendees arrive
- Managing queues and keeping games moving
- Helping teenagers understand how each activity works
- Troubleshooting quick issues with controllers, inputs, sound or display settings
- Keeping the gaming zone upbeat, safe and organised
- Reporting any damaged or faulty equipment after the event
Shift Details
- Shift length: 3 -4 hours per event
What We’re Looking For
You should be:
- 18 or older
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Confident interacting positively with teenagers
- Calm under pressure
- Comfortable with gaming consoles, screens, projectors and basic AV equipment
- Able to troubleshoot simple tech issues quickly
- Friendly, approachable and mature
Experience with gaming consoles, AV setups, event production, tech retail, youth work or hospitality would be a strong advantage, but the right attitude is most important.
Important Note
Parents trust us to provide a safe, well-run and premium environment for their children. We are looking for people who understand that the event should feel fun for the teenagers, but highly professional behind the scenes.
