Job Summary

Are you a natural leader with a passion for retail and customer service? We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy Early's Nearby Store & Cafe Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy location. In this role, you will be the driving force behind your store’s success—managing a great team, maximizing profitability, ensuring top-notch customer service, and keeping our shelves stocked and inviting. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, hire, train, and schedule a dependable team of cashiers and sales associates. Provide ongoing coaching and motivation to maintain high morale and low turnover.
Operations Management: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring the store is clean, well-lit, fully stocked, and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations (including health, safety, and alcohol/tobacco sales).
Financial Oversight: Manage the store’s budget, track daily sales, monitor labor costs, and implement strategies to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
Inventory Control: Manage ordering, receiving, and merchandising. Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize shrink, waste, and theft.
Customer Excellence: Set the standard for fast, friendly, and efficient customer service. Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally.
Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors and delivery drivers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate invoicing.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 2+ years of retail management experience (Convenience store, gas station, or grocery experience is highly preferred).
Leadership: Proven ability to manage, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
Financial Literacy: Strong understanding of retail math, P&L statements, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems, inventory software, and basic MS Office (Excel/Word).
Availability: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
