Talbot Hotel Wexford, part of the Talbot Collection, are currently recruiting for a Sales, Marketing & Events Administrator to join our team. This is a part-time position. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day administration of the Sales, Marketing, Weddings and Events functions within Talbot Hotel Wexford. This varied role will involve assisting with event enquiries, coordinating bookings, supporting digital marketing initiatives, maintaining client communications, and providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel's commercial activities. The Sales, Marketing & Events Administrator will report directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager and the Wedding & Events Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support across the Sales, Marketing and Events departments.

Assist with the planning and preparation of weddings, conferences, corporate events and special occasions.

Prepare event documentation, function sheets, proposals, contracts and client correspondence.

Create, format and maintain wedding menus, conference menus, restaurant menus and daily carvery menus.

Support the coordination of event logistics and communicate event requirements to operational departments.

Assist with digital marketing activities, including website updates, social media scheduling and promotional campaigns.

Maintain accurate records, booking information and departmental databases.

Support sales activities by responding to enquiries, preparing quotations and following up with prospective clients.

Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, advertisements and promotional content.

Coordinate administrative preparations for hotel events, promotions and seasonal initiatives.

Undertake general administrative and ad hoc duties to support the smooth operation of the Sales, Marketing and Events functions.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role;
Be highly motivated and driven to achieve targets;
Possess excellent interpersonal skills;
Excellent attention to detail;
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and achieve results
