Full job description

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to join our team. This is a key role within the business, suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage day-to-day store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the store and warehouse.
Manage stock levels, ordering, and inventory control.
Provide excellent customer service to both trade and retail customers.
Lead and support store and warehouse staff.
Process sales orders, quotations, and customer enquiries.
Ensure the store is presented professionally and operates efficiently.
Liaise with suppliers regarding stock availability and purchasing.
Maintain accurate stock records and reporting.
Assist customers in identifying suitable parts and products for their requirements.
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Essential Requirements

Knowledge of the agricultural, construction, plant, and engineering sectors.
Previous experience in a management or supervisory role.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with stock control and inventory management.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
